What Dr. Tummala treats
Dr. Tummala treats a wide range of shoulder, knee and sports medicine conditions, along with fractures and tendon injuries in athletes and active people of all ages.
Treatment always begins with nonoperative care whenever it is appropriate. This includes physical therapy, activity modification and guided home exercise programs. When surgery is the right choice, he prefers the least invasive options when possible.
In every case, he believes it is extremely important for patients to understand their condition and their options so that together they can decide on the best path.
